The form is used to answer contact, press and partnership requests. Steps requested before entering into a partnership provide the basis for commercial proposals; Catboat’s legitimate interest in answering provides the basis for other messages.

Each request is first archived on the server, then forwarded to the Forminit service, which handles the notification. If Forminit is unavailable, the local archive remains the reference copy and the notification is marked as delayed.

• Information you provide: name, email address, subject, message and, for partnerships, optional company.
• Associated technical information: message identifier, language, form type and timestamp.
• Recipients: authorised Catboat team members, the server host and Forminit for receiving and notifying messages.
• Local archive retention: one year. The copy sent to Forminit should be deleted under the same operational policy.
• The IP address is used temporarily for rate limiting. It is never written to the message archive; technical providers may nevertheless retain their own security logs.
• The form is not used for automated decision-making or automated marketing.

Catboat currently uses no advertising analytics or marketing cookies. The language is carried by the page URL and HTTP Basic authentication creates no application cookie.

Two strictly necessary cookies remember for six months whether a choice was made and which external content was allowed. They are not used for audience measurement or navigation tracking.

The “Accessibility” button can remember the larger-text preference on this device. This information remains in the browser’s local storage and is not sent to Catboat.

The Twitch player and Discord widget are blocked by default. They are only created after separate permission for each service; Twitch or Discord may then process technical information and use its own trackers under its privacy policy. The choice can be changed at any time using the “Manage my preferences” button in the footer.

Social-media links do not store anything on catboat.fr. They leave the website and are subsequently governed by the selected service.

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, or object where the legal requirements are met. Email contact@catboat.fr and include the address used for your request so that the relevant message can be located.

If, after contacting us, you believe that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority, including the CNIL in France.
